Workflow bottlenecks - where do you get stuck most often?

Curious where everyone hits roadblocks in their audit workflow. For me it's always waiting for utilities to provide historical rate schedules or explain billing anomalies. What slows you down most consistently?
Alan, same here with utility response times. But my biggest bottleneck is actually clients who can't find all their historical bills. "We only keep 2 years" or "the bills are in storage somewhere" - drives me crazy when I need 36 months of data.
Diana's client issue resonates. I now require clients to provide complete billing history upfront before I start work. No point in beginning analysis if you don't have all the data. Learned that lesson the hard way on several projects.
My bottleneck is usually interpreting complex industrial rate structures with multiple demand charges, time-of-use periods, and seasonal adjustments. Spend hours just figuring out how the rate actually works before I can start calculating errors.
All valid bottlenecks mentioned here. I've found the key is identifying these delays early in each project and setting proper expectations with clients. Most are understanding if you explain the process and potential roadblocks upfront rather than surprising them with delays later.
