Prioritizing multiple findings

When you find multiple issues in an audit - billing errors, rate optimization opportunities, power factor problems - how do you prioritize which ones to pursue first with the utility? Client is asking for a recommendation on order of approach.
Good points both. In this case we have a $15K billing error, $8K/year rate optimization opportunity, and $12K/year in power factor savings. Thinking billing error first, then power factor since that's more straightforward than rate negotiations.
Pete's right about billing errors, but I also consider dollar amounts. If the rate optimization is worth $50K/year and the billing error is $500, I might tackle the big one first even if it's more complex. Depends on client needs too.
Fred - I always go after billing errors first since those are black and white, easier to get resolved. Rate changes and optimizations can take months of back-and-forth with utilities. Get the sure money first.
