Joe T. from Irvine. Have a client with retail plaza in ComEd territory, current demand around 650 kW. They're on Rate 4L (Large General Service) but wondering about TOU options. I see Rate 4L-TOU and Rate 4M-TOU in the tariff book. Load profile shows most usage during off-peak hours due to evening retail operations. Anyone familiar with ComEd's TOU variants and which might work best?

ComEd TOU Rate Variants - Which Schedule for Retail Plaza?
Mia T. from Milwaukee. I don't work ComEd territory but have similar situation with We Energies. Retail operations often benefit from TOU rates because of evening/weekend peaks when rates are lower. You'll want to analyze their actual load profile against ComEd's TOU periods. What are their peak hours?
Peak demand typically occurs 6-9 PM during holiday shopping seasons, otherwise pretty flat. Most stores close by 10 PM except anchor tenant. Seems like ComEd's off-peak periods might align well but I'm not familiar enough with their specific TOU windows.
