Agricultural rate qualifications - Georgia Power giving me grief

Derek H. in Atlanta. Got a poultry operation that should qualify for Georgia Power's Schedule AG-1 agricultural rate but they're claiming it doesn't meet the criteria. The operation is clearly agricultural - 40,000 chickens, automated feeding, climate control, the works. They're keeping them on Schedule GS-2 which is costing about $800/month extra. Anyone know the specific qualifications GP uses for agricultural classification?
Maria G. from San Antonio. I've dealt with similar issues with other utilities. Usually they want to see that the electricity is directly used for agricultural production, not just processing. For poultry, the climate control and automated systems should definitely qualify. Check if Georgia Power requires a certain percentage of revenue from agricultural sales versus processing.
Thanks Maria. I'll dig into the revenue requirements. This is clearly production not processing so should be straightforward, but GP seems to be making it difficult.
