LinkedIn outreach templates that actually work

Ivan T. here from Bristol, TN. I've been trying LinkedIn outreach for months with terrible response rates. Most of my messages get ignored or I get polite "not interested" replies. Does anyone have LinkedIn message templates that actually get responses from facility managers and property owners?
Wayne P. in Charlotte. Ivan, the key is leading with value, not selling. I use something like: "Hi John, noticed your company operates several facilities in the Charlotte area. I just helped a similar manufacturing client reduce their Duke Energy bills by $2,400 monthly - would a 10-minute conversation about potential savings be worth your time?" Keep it specific and brief.
Tony V. from Newark jumping in. Wayne's approach is solid. I also like to mention a specific finding like "I recently found $18,000 in annual savings for a warehouse by optimizing their PSE&G Schedule GLP demand profile." Real numbers get attention better than vague promises.
Janet H. in Richmond. I've had good luck connecting first without a pitch, then following up a week later with value. First message: "Hi Sarah, fellow Richmond business professional here. I help companies optimize their utility costs and noticed your expertise in facilities management." Then follow up with the specific offer.
Thanks for the templates everyone. Wayne, do you customize the savings example for each industry or just use a generic one? I'm wondering if mentioning a restaurant savings to a manufacturer would hurt credibility.
Ivan, I definitely customize by industry when possible. Manufacturing clients want to hear about other manufacturers, retail wants retail examples, etc. If I don't have a perfect match, I'll say "similar-sized facility" instead of being industry-specific. Takes more time but response rates are much better.
Ed C. from Nashville. Has anyone tried LinkedIn's premium features for outreach? Wondering if the advanced search and InMail credits are worth the cost for finding facility managers.
Kim S. in Las Vegas here. Ed, I tried Premium for 3 months. The advanced search is helpful for finding the right titles, but InMail response rates weren't much better than connection requests. I cancelled and went back to free version with more targeted connection requests.
Lorraine B. from Chattanooga. One thing I've learned - avoid LinkedIn messages on Mondays and Fridays. Tuesday through Thursday seem to get much better response rates from busy facility managers. Also, morning messages (8-10 AM) work better than afternoon.
