Jennifer R. from Sacramento here. What LinkedIn outreach messages are getting responses for you all? I've tried everything from generic introductions to detailed case studies but response rates are terrible. Need some fresh approaches that don't sound spammy.

LinkedIn outreach templates that actually work
Angela F. from Columbus here Jennifer. I've had success with the "mutual connection" approach. Something like "Hi John, I noticed we're both connected to Sarah from ABC Property Management. I helped her save $23,000 annually on utility costs and wondered if you face similar challenges with your portfolio." Short, specific, and references someone they know.
James W. in Memphis here. My best performing message starts with a question: "Hi [Name], quick question - are you seeing the impact of MLGW's recent rate restructuring on your facility costs?" Then I offer to share a brief analysis of the changes. Gets about 30% response rate because it's timely and relevant to their market.
James that's smart - leading with utility-specific news. SMUD just changed their TOU periods here in Sacramento. I could reference that in outreach to local businesses. Angela, how do you find mutual connections without it seeming creepy?
