Joan W. in Tempe. Thinking about joining our local chamber but the membership is $650 annually plus meeting costs. Have any of you gotten utility audit clients through chamber networking? Seems like it could be hit or miss.
Chamber of Commerce networking worth it?
Jeff M. from Wichita Falls here. I've been in our chamber for three years and it's been worth every penny. Haven't gotten direct clients but met an accountant who's referred four manufacturing clients to me. Sometimes it's about the secondary connections.
Tony S. in Providence. Mixed results for me. Chamber events are good for general business networking but most members don't really understand what we do. I'd say try it for a year but don't expect immediate results.
