Eddie E. from Tulsa here. I've been comparing our OG&E bills to the published rate schedule and there's about $200/month that I can't account for beyond the basic energy and demand charges. I see something called "Environmental Compliance Cost Recovery" and "Transmission Service Charge" but these aren't clearly explained in the main tariff. What other hidden fees should I be looking for? This is frustrating.

Hidden riders and fees - what am I missing?
Susan W. from OKC here. Eddie, those environmental and transmission riders are usually in separate tariff schedules. Check OG&E's website for "Rider ECR" and "Rider TSC" - they'll have the current rates per kWh. These get updated periodically through separate filings. There's probably also a "Rider RER" for renewable energy if you're on a larger rate schedule.
Thanks Susan! Found those rider schedules buried in a different section of their tariff book. Still seems like a lot of extra charges that aren't well publicized. Is this normal for most utilities or is Oklahoma particularly bad about this?
