The transmission charges are going up about 15% and industrial customers pay a higher allocation. A paper mill I audit is looking at about $45,000/month increase on their $380,000 monthly bills.
Zach, that's exactly what I was afraid of. The client I'm most worried about is a steel fabrication plant with 8MW peak demand. They're already struggling with competition from overseas manufacturers. An extra $50k+ per month might push them over the edge to close the facility.
