Louisville restaurant chain got LG&E backbill going back 42 months. Faulty transformer caused underbilling of about $31,000. Kentucky PSC allows how much lookback?

Kentucky LG&E backbill statute of limitations
Kentucky is generally 36 months but I've seen it vary by circumstances. Was this utility equipment failure or customer-side issue?
Utility transformer failed, caused voltage regulator to read low for 3+ years. Definitely their equipment, not customer caused.
For utility equipment failure in Kentucky, 36 months is the max under PSC regs. Push back on that extra 6 months - should save you about $4,500.
