Anyone using drone technology for site surveys?

Considering getting a drone for large facility surveys. Roof-mounted equipment, solar arrays, transformer locations - seems like it could save time vs climbing around. Anyone tried this? What about FAA regulations?
I've been using a DJI Mini 2 for about 6 months. Great for documentation but you need Part 107 commercial license from FAA. 2-week course and exam. Most clients are impressed with the overhead facility photos in audit reports.
Be careful around power lines and substations. Some utilities have strict no-fly zones. Entergy in Mississippi wouldn't let me use drone within 1000 feet of transmission lines. Check with facility security first.
Insurance is key. Added drone coverage to my business policy for $200/year. Also get permission in writing from clients before flying. One hospital said no because of helicopter flight paths.
Worth the investment if you do large facility audits. Thermal imaging drone for electrical hotspot surveys is next level. Spotted loose connections on transformers that would have been missed with ground inspection.
Phoenix area has lots of restricted airspace. Sky Harbor airport effects everything within 30 miles. Use the B4UFLY app to check before every flight. Saved me from violating restricted zones multiple times.
