AI tools for bill auditing?

Anyone experimenting with AI for utility bill analysis? Wondering if ChatGPT or similar tools could help spot patterns or errors in APS bills. Seems like it could speed up the process.
Tried using ChatGPT to analyze Idaho Power rate structures. It's decent for explaining tariff language but not great with actual calculations. Still need human oversight.
Be careful with AI and client data. Most terms of service allow them to use your inputs for training. Could be a confidentiality issue with sensitive billing information.
AI might be good for initial data review but I wouldn't trust it for final calculations. Too much liability if it misses something or makes an error.
Used it to help write a demand response proposal for a SCE client in California. Good for generating templates and explaining complex concepts to clients. Just don't rely on it for technical accuracy.
AI tools can be helpful for research and documentation but remember - you're still responsible for the accuracy of your work. Use AI to enhance your analysis, not replace it.
Tried using AI to analyze NV Energy bills but it kept making basic mistakes on demand calculations. Still faster to do it manually with Excel.
The key is knowing the AI's limitations. Great for initial research and generating client communications. Not ready for complex rate analysis yet.
