Mississippi Power sent me 3 years of bills as password-protected PDFs. They gave me the passwords but some don't work. Anyone know tools for removing PDF passwords? Need to extract data for analysis.

PDFtk works for basic password removal if you know the password. Free command line tool. There are online services too but I wouldn't trust them with client data.
Had this same problem with Ameren Missouri. Called them back and they sent unprotected versions. Easier than trying to crack passwords.
Always request unprotected files from utilities when possible. If they insist on passwords, get them to confirm all passwords work before starting your analysis.
