Backup software recommendations
Carbonite works well for me. Automatic cloud backup, about $50/year. Saved me twice with corrupted files. Just make sure you have good internet speed for large file uploads.
I use Google Drive for active projects and external hard drives for archives. Redundant storage is key. Also keep paper copies of critical findings.
Data backup should be automatic and redundant. Your reputation depends on delivering results, not excuses about lost files. Invest in a solid backup strategy early.
