Technology tools for larger practices
Moved to Salesforce last year and it transformed our client management. Tracks leads, audit progress, and integrates with QuickBooks for invoicing.
Box.com for document storage works great. Clients can upload bills directly to secure folders, auditors access from anywhere. Better than email attachments.
Custom FileMaker database handles our entire workflow. Tracks audit stages, findings, deadlines, and generates reports. Initial setup was expensive but worth it.
Don't forget about time tracking software. We use Toggl to monitor how much time each auditor spends per client. Helps with pricing and productivity.
Microsoft 365 suite covers most needs - Teams for communication, SharePoint for documents, Power BI for reporting. All integrates well together.
Whatever tools you choose, make sure your team actually uses them. Best technology in the world doesn't help if people ignore it. Training is crucial.
