Trying to build referral network here in Allentown area. Talked to a few CPA firms but they seem hesitant to refer clients. Any tips on building these relationships?

Building relationships with local CPAs and consultants
Takes time to build trust. I started by offering to do free initial reviews for their top clients. Once they see the results, referrals follow naturally.
Energy consultants are good partners too. They focus on procurement, we handle billing errors. Complementary services rather than competing.
Don't overlook commercial real estate brokers. They know which buildings have high utility costs and can make introductions to property managers.
Key is showing them you're professional and won't embarrass them with their clients. Clean reports, timely communication, and always follow up.
Referral relationships are built on trust and mutual benefit. Consider offering referral fees to CPAs for qualified leads. Many states allow this with proper disclosure.
