Phoenix area auditors - reminder that SRP doesn't allow competitive suppliers. All those broker calls targeting SRP customers are basically scams or people who don't understand Arizona's energy market. APS territory is different story.

Correct. SRP is municipal utility, not investor-owned. No deregulation. APS customers can choose suppliers but most don't save money unless they're very large users.
I explain this to confused clients regularly. Arizona's partial deregulation only applies to APS territory. SRP, Tucson Electric, and other municipal utilities remain regulated monopolies.
Mesa resident here. Get calls weekly from 'energy advisors' claiming I can save on SRP bills. Total scam. SRP's rates are already competitive and their time-of-use programs work well for most customers.
