Charlotte warehouse client interested in Duke's PowerShare demand response program. Need to analyze their load profile to see if they qualify. Program requires ability to reduce 100kW+ for 4 hours. Anyone have experience with PowerShare enrollment?

Duke Energy Carolinas load profiling for demand response programs
We enrolled a Charlotte manufacturer last year. Duke requires 2 years of interval data to establish baseline. Customer must demonstrate consistent load patterns and ability to curtail without affecting operations. Pays $100/kW-year.
PowerShare events typically called 10-15 times per summer. Customer gets 2-hour advance notice. Missing a curtailment call results in $500/kW penalty, so make sure client can reliably respond.
Thanks for the insights. Client has HVAC systems they can cycle off for 4-6 hours without issues. Their summer peak load is 450kW, so potential for good revenue if they can curtail 150-200kW.
