Small professional office in Topeka on Evergy. Monthly bill includes $35 charge for "voltage regulation equipment." Is this a legitimate charge? Office uses standard 120/240V service.

Evergy small office - voltage regulator charges
Sounds unusual. Evergy typically doesn't charge separately for voltage regulation on small commercial accounts. Check if this is for special equipment like a dedicated transformer.
Contacted Evergy customer service. Charge was for voltage regulator installed for previous tenant who had sensitive equipment. New tenant doesn't need it. Evergy removing equipment and charge.
