Pizza shop in Newark - PSE&G missing GS rate discount

Local pizza place has been on PSE&G Rate GS for 18 months. 35kW demand, open 12 hours daily. They qualify for Rate GS-1 which has lower customer charge and better demand rate structure. Potential savings around $140/month.
Classic issue with PSE&G. GS-1 kicks in at 25kW demand. The utility should have moved them automatically but often doesn't. File rate change request with Account Services.
Had same thing in Phoenix with APS. Small restaurant stuck on wrong schedule. Saved them $2,800 annually just by filing the paperwork.
Update: PSE&G processed the rate change. Retroactive billing adjustment was $2,240 for 16 months. Thanks for the guidance!
Rate schedule optimization is often overlooked on small commercial accounts. Always verify the customer is on the most advantageous rate for their usage pattern.
