Manufacturing client in Wichita has been on Rate GS-2 (small commercial) for 4 years. Their usage clearly qualifies for Rate LV-1 (large industrial) which would save them about $2,800/month. Filed Form 852 with KGS but they're dragging their feet. Anyone dealt with similar rate reclassification disputes in Kansas?

Kansas Gas Service rate class error - client charged commercial instead of industrial
We had the same issue with Xcel Energy in Sioux Falls. The key is proving continuous operation and minimum therm usage. Get 12 months of usage history and highlight months where they exceeded the industrial threshold.
Good call on the continuous operation angle. Client runs 24/7 production and their lowest month was still 180,000 therms. KGS finally approved the reclassification and we're getting refunds back to the eligibility date. Persistence pays off.
