What's on your final QC checklist before presenting findings? I missed a calculation error last month and had to revise a $6,800 finding down to $3,200. JEA in Jacksonville was not amused. Need a better system.

Quality control checklist before finalizing audit
I have a 12-point checklist. Verify all arithmetic, double-check rate schedule dates, confirm meter multipliers, review contract terms vs tariff, check tax exemption status. Santee Cooper caught an error I made on demand calculations once.
Have someone else review your work if possible. Fresh eyes catch things you miss. I partner with another auditor for second reviews on findings over $5,000. Avista in Washington has questioned methodology before.
