Akron warehouse client switched to competitive supplier last year. FirstEnergy delivery charges are $0.051/kWh on rate schedule GP. Seems high compared to what I see in other FirstEnergy territories. Anyone know if this is typical for Ohio?

Ohio FirstEnergy delivery charges - what's reasonable?
Bob - FirstEnergy delivery rates vary significantly by operating company. Ohio Edison, Cleveland Electric, and Toledo Edison all have different tariffs. $0.051/kWh for GP rate class sounds about right for current Ohio Edison territory. Check which FirstEnergy company is actually serving the account.
Pam's analysis matches what I see in Florida. Each utility subsidiary has its own rate structure even under the same parent company. FirstEnergy Ohio rates have been climbing due to grid modernization investments approved by PUCO.
