APS Schedule E-32 power factor minimum

Client in Mesa on APS Schedule E-32 asking about power factor minimum. I see penalties apply below 90% but is there any benefit for maintaining higher PF? Like 95% or above?
No credits for high power factor on E-32. Just penalty avoidance. But maintaining 95%+ PF does reduce overall system losses which can lower energy costs slightly.
The real benefit is avoiding future rate increases. APS has been raising PF penalty rates every few years. Better power factor provides insurance against those increases.
Good points. Client is already at 93% so no penalties, but considering correction equipment anyway for the long-term benefits you mentioned.
