Phoenix manufacturing client on APS Schedule TOU-E. They've been getting charged peak rates from 12pm-8pm instead of the correct 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri. Rate book clearly shows 12-7 peak window but bills show 8-hour peak charges. Anyone else seen this with APS?

APS TOU-E rate applied wrong - 3 years of peak hour errors
Sarah - check if they switched the summer/winter peak windows. APS TOU-E has different peak hours by season. Summer is 12-7, winter is 6-10am and 5-9pm if I recall correctly.
Phil you're absolutely right. Found the issue - they were applying winter peak hours year-round. Overbilling is about $47,000 over 3 years. APS acknowledged the error and processing refund.
Seasonal TOU window errors are unfortunately common. Always verify the utility is applying the correct peak/off-peak windows for each billing period. Good catch Sarah.
