Client is county courthouse in Newark. PSE&G started charging NJ sales tax on electric bills in August. Filed ST-4 exemption certificate 2 years ago. Anyone know if something changed with NJ government exemptions?

Check if the ST-4 is still on file with PSE&G. Sometimes they purge old exemption certificates. Government entities are definitely still exempt under N.J.S.A. 54:32B-9. Call PSE&G customer service first.
