Grain elevator in Topeka on Evergy. They're drying corn and soybeans using natural gas. Getting charged Kansas sales tax but wondering if agricultural processing exemption applies under K.S.A. 79-3606. The grain comes from multiple farms, not just one operation.

Evergy Kansas - agriculture exemption question
Grain elevators in Kansas usually qualify for agricultural exemptions. The fact that grain comes from multiple farms doesn't matter - you're still processing agricultural products. File ST-28A form with Kansas Department of Revenue.
