Municipal taxes are tricky. Each city has different rules. Food processing might qualify for exemption under local manufacturing provisions but you'd need to check Anchorage Municipal Code.
Checked with Anchorage tax office. Food processing does qualify for exemption under AMC 12.05. Filed the paperwork but only saved $280/month. Small potatoes compared to Lower 48 jobs.
