Dead thread — fee question for telecom audits

Is the standard contingency the same for telecom bill audits as for electric? Telecom bills seem more complex with all the line items.

Same rate or higher. Telecom bills have dozens of line items and the errors are often buried in taxes, surcharges, and legacy charges. If anything the complexity justifies a higher fee. I charge 45-50% on telecom audits because the analysis takes significantly longer per dollar recovered.
